Edna Jean Hale, 90, of Montague, went to be with the Lord April 9, 2021.  Jean was born Nov 4, 1930, in Nunica, the daughter of Ferris and Doris (Epplett) Hale.

Jean married Everett Grow and together they raised 5 children.  Jean worked for Howmet for many years. She was a member of Montague United Methodist Church and loved to garden, read and knit.

She is survived by: her daughter, Ruth (Grow) Hulbert; 3 sons, Randy (Barb) Grow, Daryl Grow and John (Kathy) Grow; daughter-in-law, Benita Grow; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ray (Glenda) Hale; sister, Elaine Slate; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by: her parents, Ferris and Doris Hale; her sister, Margaret Eggers; her brother, Duane Hale; and her son, Allan Grow.

Cremation has taken place and due to covid 19 restrictions, private family services have been held.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
