Edward William Burch, 81, of Twin Lake, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020, at his home. He was born January 27, 1939, in Charlevoix, the son of Edward K. and Marian (Case) Burch.

Edward honorably served his country in the US Navy and was a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians. Edward loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

On May 18, 1963, Edward married Charlene (Byron) Burch, and she survives him.  He is also survived by: his children, Edward Jr. (Michelle) Burch and Shawna Burch; grandchildren, Edward Burch III, Jade Burch, Koleton Burch, Hailey (Alex) ten Haaf, Andrew Dratz, and Levi Perysian; brother, Francis Burch; and very special niece, Catherine Burch.

Edward was preceded in death by: his parents, Edward and Marian Burch; 1 sister; and 2 brothers.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461. A luncheon will follow at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, American Cancer Society, or by planting a tree in Edward's honor.
