Edward F. Gwisdalla, 74, of Traverse City, died Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Munson Medical Center.

Ed was born January 16, 1948, in Mt. Clemens, the son of Cassimer and Mary (Lemanski) Gwisdalla.

He grew up in Utica and graduated from Utica High School.  After graduation, he was drafted into the US Army and was a highly decorated Vietnam veteran.

He loved to travel with his loving partner Janet Howes and always enjoyed dining out.  Ed appreciated the simple things in life like a Sunday drive, watching Jeopardy, and his backyard deck at his cozy home in Traverse City. Ed did all of this yet his devotion and love for Janet was witnessed by those closest to him.

Ed is survived by: his loving partner, Janet; brothers, Joseph (Jane) and James (Kathy) and Norman (Linda); and sisters, Joyce (Melvin), Carol and Marie and Sister In law Beverly

He was preceded in death by his parents and Brothers Richard and Robert.

Interment will take place Friday, January 20,2023 at 2 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
