Edward Martin
Pulaski
April 4, 1941 – September 3, 2022
Edward Martin Pulaski, 81, of Whitehall, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Saturday, September 3, 2022. He was born April 4, 1941, in Shelby, to Clarence and Edna (Rehbein) Pulaski.
Since the age of 14, he worked in the building trades. In 1958, he married Barbara Robertshaw and they were blessed with two children. He ended his career becoming a certified mechanical & electrical inspector for multiple townships and various municipalities, recently retiring fully in September, 2021.
As hobbies, Ed loved to restore old vehicles, work with wood, run a sawmill, and have breakfast at Gary's Restaurant in Whitehall. He was known for his kindness to anyone he met or knew. His friends, near and far, were an important part of his life. Ed was a member of the Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church since his early teens.
Ed is survived by: his wife of over 64 years, Barbara; son, Nick and his wife, Reneé (Veign) Pulaski; grandson, Adam Pulaski; granddaughter, Amber Pulaski; sister, Ruth (Bruce) Harwood; and many beloved nephews & nieces.
Ed was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Cathy; sister, Phyllis (Paul) Puls; and brother, Richard Pulaski.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 9, 2022, at Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church, 900 South Warner Street, Whitehall, MI, 49461. Visitation will be held at Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ed's honor to Whitehall Evangelical Covenant Church.
