Obituary

Mr. Edward Ronald "Stink" Wright, age 79, of Hart, MI, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born March 31, 1935, in Munising, MI, to Hiram and Ruth (Ives) Wright. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Master Sargent. He married Helen Baker on July 28, 1996 in Pentwater. Edward was employed by Pentwater Electric as a Master Electrician and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and bird watching. He also liked to tinker with things. Edward was a great history buff and studied the evolution of things and their cause and effect relationships. He was a former member of the American Legion.

Edward is survived by his wife, Helen Baker of Hart; five daughters, Randi Wright of Palm Harbor, FL, Lisa (Leo) Mack of Miami, FL, Holly (Gary) Wilson of Taylor, MI, Sandi (Bill) Rutter of Hart, MI, and Shelley Miller of Hart, MI; one son, Edward (Cheryl) Wright, Jr. of Holly, MI; his sister, Yvonne Hamlin of Monroe, MI; two brothers, Ray Wright of Ocala, FL, and Donald Wright of West Dundee, FL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered for Mr. Wright at11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Pentwater with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating. A graveside service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home in Hart.
