Edwin Daniel Kissling, 59, of Montague, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, with loved ones by his side. He was born February 14, 1963, the son of Melvin and Joann (Pulsipher) Kissling.

Edwin married Alison on September 29, 2009, and spent 20 loving years together.

He went to Montague Public Schools, worked at Kurdziels for 5 years, CMI Dearborn for 5 years, and is retired now.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, time spent with family, grilling out, and taking long walks in the woods.

Edwin is survived by: his wife, Alison Kissling; children, Amanda Kissling (Clinton Bancroft), Daniel Kissling (Zena Coon), Patrick Kissling (Ariel Seyedin),  Joe Parsons (Heather Parsons), and Levi Amstutz (McKinley Beecham); sister, Brenda (Ken) Hammell; brother, Melvin Jr Kissling; several nieces and nephews; and 20 grandchildren.

Edwin is preceded in death by: his parents, Melvin Kissling and Joann Kissling; brother, Bill Kissling; and nephew, Brandon Hammell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, 413 South Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service.
