Obituary

Eileen Ruth (Galvin) Clous, 67, of Grawn, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in the comfort and care of her home and family in Grawn, Michigan.  She was born February 27, 1956, in Petoskey, Michigan.

Eileen was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a talented homemaker and she loved her free time, and with it, loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her husband and grandchildren.  She was also a very talented quilter and had an amazing way of coordinating fabrics and patterns together to form a piece of art for her and her family to enjoy.

Eileen was a woman that enjoyed the simple things in life; they brought her the most joy.  She loved to travel and explore, her favorite place being Alaska as its beauty always drew her back.  Christmas time was a favorite for her as well, and dearly enjoyed creating a day of joy and togetherness with her family.  Eileen was a gifted baker, and absolutely enjoyed getting together with her granddaughters to make her famous rolls and Danish every year for the upcoming holiday.

On October 25, 1975, Eileen married the love of her life of 48 years, Ronald Clous.  Ronald survives her, along with children, Darren Clous and Nathan Clous; two daughters in law, Christina Eikenroth and Armanda Clous; two grandchildren, Kennedy Clous and Cambelle Clous; Sister Bea (Galvin) Voice as well as a host of other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents Marion Rundquist and Keith Galvin, as well as her brother-in-law Paul Voice.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Kingsley Chapel, 200 N. Brownson Ave., Kingsley, MI 49649.  The family will receive friends 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.  Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Kingsley Sportsman Club, 6095 Garfield Road, Kingsley, Michigan 49649.
