March 29, 1923 – June 19, 2017
Elaine Marie Ezdebski, 94, of Ludington, passed away June 19, 2017. She's now with her husband, Frank, whom she married January 19, 1946 and preceded her in death in October 1997. She's also with her parents, Albert and Anna Soldusky, her son, James L. Ezdebski, her grandson, Eric Olson, her brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Martha Soldusky, her brother-in-law, Robert Lemire, sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Russell Breckon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Alex and Pearl Winczewski, George and Vicky Shilander and Bill Ezdebski.
Elaine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Bill Olson; daughter-in-law, Cathy Ezdebski; granddaughters, Jennifer Ezdebski and Margaret (David) Yeager all of Ludington; Sara Olson of Hubbard OH, Julie (Andy) Taylor of St. George UT, Stephanie Olson of Orchard Park, NY; and her grandson, Jeff (Maria) Ezdebski of Farmington MI. She's also survived by her sister, Betty Lemire of Sonya, China and sister-in-law Margaret Ezdebski of Ludington. She leaves behind nine grandchildren, Chandler Gordon and Landon Ezdebski of Ludington, Patricio and Camila Ezdebski of Farmington MI and Oliver, Ben, Emma, Will and Amelia Taylor of St. George UT. Many nieces and nephews will miss her at family gatherings. She also left behind friends from her home at 410 4 th St., those she made while living at Sherman Oaks Manor and those of her new family that she "just loved" at Family Tree in Hart MI.
She was a lifelong member of St. Stanislaus and St. Simon Catholic Churches and traveled to 48 of the 50 states and Europe.
In lieu of monetary donations, flowers or Mass offerings, the family requests that anonymous random acts of kindness be performed in her memory. She always looked forward to our summer picnics so we will have a picnic to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Bill and Kathleen Olson. Private services will be held at a later date.
