Mrs. Elaine Mannor, age 85, of Hart, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. She was born March 31, 1927, in Benzie to Harold and Laura (Bowers) Long. She was a homemaker and had attended St. Gregory Catholic Church. Her interests included flower gardening, and crocheting doll clothes which she lovingly gave to Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
Elaine is survived by six daughters, Laurie (Aaron) Smith of Texas, Mary Miller of Oklahoma, Helen (Buzz) Schmitz of Hart, Bonnie Mannor of Mears, Robin (Don) Pider of Hesperia, Charity (Doug) McKenzie of Allegan; three sons, Daniel (Linda) Mannor of Hart, Joe Mannor of Shelby, Tony (Lynda) Mannor of Mears; 30 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Billy (Donna) Long of Baldwin; and sister-in-law, Katherine (James) McDonald of Hesperia. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alex Mannor, on August 31, 1983; her daughter, Linda Mannor in 1958; and three brothers, Dick, Bob and Junior Long.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Mannor will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from the West Golden Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Ron Rickard officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the King Funeral Home.
