Mrs. Elaine I. Nolan, age 91, of Mears, Michigan, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014. She was born August 29, 1922, in Pelican Lake, Wisconsin to Fredrick and Gladys (Fuller) Eyestone. She was employed at Oceana Hospital until her retirement. She was a life member of the Hart VFW Auxiliary and a former member of the FOE Eagles. Elaine was a step-mother to six, a step-grandmother to many, and raised many other children. She was loved by them all. Elaine is survived by two sisters, Geraldine Larr and Eloise Smith, her step-children, step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private burial in the spring.
