Eleanor Ann Patterson, age 93, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on the 29th day of October 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Eleanor was born August 4, 1917 to Albert and Mary (Campbell) Bailey in Macomb, Illinois. E.A. (as she was called by all who knew her) was married to John Binford Patterson June 8, 1939 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Dr. John B. Patterson. She is survived by her four children, John Bailey Patterson (Rita), Anchorage, Alaska, Mary Elizabeth Miller (Milford), Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ann Eleanor Hart (John), Tucson, Arizona and James Sterling Patterson (Lari), Colorado Spring, Colorado; and eight grandchildren.

E.A. graduated from Western Illinois State Teachers College Academy in June 1935 and Goucher College, Baltimore, Maryland in June 1939 with a Bachelors Degree in History. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, the Tarrant County Ladies Medical Auxiliary from 1950 to 1992 and the Rivercrest Ladies Golf Association from 1950 until the present.

There will be a graveside service at the Pentwater Cemetery in Pentwater, Michigan. The family has requested that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
