Elizabeth Lucille Morin, 89, of Ludington, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at home.  She was born November 25, 1928, in Ludington, the daughter of Ellsworth and Mary (Drabenstott) French.

Elizabeth worked as a nurse's aide at Baywood Nursing Home in Ludington for several years, and later in housekeeping at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington for over 15 years until her retirement.  In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoyed gardening, watching the Detroit Tigers, reading, and when she was younger, playing softball.  Most of all, Elizabeth loved supporting the Ludington Orioles and watching her grandchildren's sporting events.

Elizabeth is survived by: her children, Carol (Patrick) Pomorski of Ludington, Donna (Doug) Bellgardt of Byron Center, Gary Morin of Florida, Tracey (Fred) Whitman of Ludington, Renee (Tom) Harmsen of Muskegon, and John (Caryn) Morin of Ludington; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Morin in 2011; her grandson, Brian Whitman; and her brother, Ellsworth French Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, August 24, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, 309 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, with Pastor Douglas Niemi officiating.  Interment will be in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
