Mr. Emanuel P. "Manny" Toubeaux, age 74, died Sunday, December 16, 2007. He was born October 5, 1933 in Pana, IL to Emanuel and Elizabeth (Wichter) Toubeaux. He was joined in marriage to Ursula Yeruski on July 21, 1953 at Angola, IN. Manny was the owner of Selkirk Auto Parts Store in the Detroit area and had also worked in the tool and die industry. He was a member of the Faith Christian Fellowship Church of Hart, was an avid NASCAR fan and had his own auto stock racing car, while operating the auto parts store. Manny is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ursula "Sally" of Hart; four children, David Emanuel Toubeaux of Michigan City, IN, Allan Joseph (Barbara) Toubeaux of Riverview, MI, Daniel Paul Toubeaux of Waterford, MI and Lori Ann (Roger) Curtis of Hart; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Loretta Grosh and Amelia Ulanowski, 1 brother, Eugene Toubeau. The Funeral Service for Manny will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Bearss officiating. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Tate-King Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to Harbor Hospice, American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association.
