Eric M. Greenman passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday morning June 7th. After spending a beautiful night on the lake fishing with his best friends. Eric lived his life to the fullest every day since he was young. He was an avid golfer since high school. Traveling around Michigan and the United States playing the best courses. Earlier in life Eric was on a travel paintball team that took him out to California. That's when he developed his desire to travel. Eric got the chance to travel the states during his career, often living on the road. He was stuck in his hotel room for days during Hurricane Harvey, in 2017, where the flood waters surrounding him were as high as traffic signs. He said he was fine. He never worried about danger. Recently Eric had been relaxing and enjoying life at his house, by the lake, in Fountain Michigan. Whether it be two tracking in his buggy, fishing with his "garbage" pole, bowling on a league, golfing with his newest clubs, playing cards or hanging with the Besties. Eric was the happiest and most at peace he'd ever been. He was living and loving his best life.

Eric's personality was magnetic. His laugh would fill an auditorium. His dark brown eyes so gentle. His smile the brightest. His heart the most loving. His soul, forever giving. He was the glue that brought and held people together. He has left a hole in the lives of many and will never be forgotten.

Eric was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. Where he spent nearly every year of his childhood watching the National Cherry Festival Grand Parade on his Grandma Greenman's porch. As an adult Eric moved to Fountain Michigan and became a staple in the community. He grew a tribe of friends he called family who he loved with all his heart. In his passing Eric has brought his two families together continuing his legacy of enjoying life and living it to the fullest.

Eric is survived by his Father Claude (Andy) A. Greenman, Mother Colleen S. Lipinski, Stepfather Rick T. Lipinski, Sister Andrea S. Fate, Niece Kinsleigh S. Fate, Nephew Kalen I. Fate. As well as his most spoiled and handsome cat, Taco. Each with whom he loved fiercely and had a special bond with. Each who adored him and will miss him with their whole being. He was their star on Earth. Who now shines over them.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in his honor for his family and friends July 3rd in Custer MI.
