Mr. Ernest W. "Bill" Stanfield, age 53, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007. He was born in Hart on February 25, 1953 to Gerald and Arbutus (Payne) Stanfield. Bill was employed as a Journeyman Electrician and worked for Hydaker Electric. His interests included hunting, fishing, watching turkeys in his backyard. He also had an interest in music and played the bass guitar, mandolin and even coffee cans. Bill will be remembered as always joking, his good sense of humor, social gatherings and always being very dependable and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Bill loved children and always thought he was the best looking and the favorite uncle. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Marsha (Don) Taylor of Hart, Gary (June) Stanfield of Hart, Patty (Jim) Wilkinson of Bitely, Tom (Sue) Stanfield of Hesperia, Mike (Renae) Stanfield of Walkerville, Kevin Stanfield of Walkerville, Jimmy Stanfield of Walkerville and Mary Stanfield of Hart; grandmother, Florence Payne of Walkerville; step father, Mac McGahan "Daddy Mac" of Brohman; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister, Tami Stanfield. The Funeral Service for Mr. Stanfield will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. from the Tate-King Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Taylor officiating. Interment in Fairlawn Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home.
