Obituary
Mrs. Estella Mae Jeffery, age 90, of Pentwater, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012. She was born January 22, 1922, in Spencer, Ohio to Dewey and Ruth (DeBouef) Leininger. She married Warren D. Jeffery in Cleveland, Ohio, on May 10, 1944. She was employed at Blodgett Hospital as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1978 and operated Pentwater Antiques. Mrs. Jeffery was a member of St. James Episcopal Church; she was devoted to her Lord and her family.
Estella is survived by her husband, Warren D. Jeffery and two daughters, Kay (William) Floyd-Moore of Pentwater, and Colleen (Rick) VanDellen of Grand Rapids. She also has six grandchildren, Jennifer Floyd, Jill (Tony) Carattini, Jane (Kevin) Richie, Jeffery (Nicole) VanDellen, Jesse VanDellen, Jordyn VanDellen and one great-grandson, Silas VanDellen. A sister-in-law, Cynthia Leininger of North Madison, Ohio, also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Roger Leininger.
Graveside services for Mrs. Jeffery will be held at a later date at Pentwater Cemetery in Pentwater. The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. James Episcopal Church, 82 S. Wythe, Pentwater, MI 49449.
