Mr. Eugene "Gene" Robert Gill, age 58, of Walkerville, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was born May 15, 1955, in Monroe, Michigan to Bernard and Theresa "Dollie" (Masta) Gill. He married Sue Brazill in Monroe, Michigan on March 26, 1985 and he was employed at Walkerville Well Drilling.
Mr. Gill loved nature and enjoyed time bird watching, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed wood carving, card playing, and spent time working on vehicles. He loved spending time with family, especially with his grandchildren.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Sue Gill; two daughters, Stephanie (Edward) Cook of Rothbury, and Tonya Gill of Whitehall; one son: Isaac Gill of Walkerville; his mother Theresa "Dollie" Gill of Hart; four grandchildren, Arthur Sokolowski III, Kaiden Cook, Caleb Gill, and another expected in 2014; one sister, Marguerite Deneau; three brothers, Dave (Jan) Gill, Leland Gill, and Bernie (Frankie) Gill, all of Monroe; and a half-brother, Michael (Karen) Hartranoft of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father and his in-laws, Bernard and Dorothy Brazill.

The Memorial Service for Mr. Gill will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the King Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Carrier officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at King Funeral Home. The family requests that any memorials be directed to King Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
