Eva L. Berumen, 69, of Pentwater, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 23, 1948, in Edinburg, Texas, the daughter of Jose Tereso and Estanislada (Villarreal) Luevano.

Eva was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved taking care of cooking for her family.  She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, listening to music and going for walks.  She was an active member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Hart.

Eva is survived by: her husband, Jose Berumen; her children, Eva (Victor Reyna)  Berumen of Pentwater, Emanuel (Eva) Berumen of Winter Haven, Florida, and Matthew Berumen of Pentwater; 5 grandchildren, Regina, Steven, Lisa, Matthew and Xitlali; her brother, Gregorio (Hilaria) Luevano; 2 sisters, San Juanita Lopez and Mara (Juan) Barco; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eva was preceded in death by: her parents; and 6 siblings, Dora Soliz, Victor Luevano, Pablo Luevano, Hilario G. Luevano Sr. , Angelita Luevano and Domingo Luevano.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10:00 AM, Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, in Hart, with Father Tom Bolster presiding.  Interment will be in North Weare Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart, 49420, with a time to pray the Rosary at 7:30 PM.
