Evelyn Mae (Maidens) Goff, age 90, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away February 25, 2025.

Evelyn was born on June 28, 1934, in Kalkaska, Michigan to Gladys Maidens and Roy Maidens.  Gladys later married Henry Riehl.

She met and married Lyle C. Goff.  They were united in marriage on January 5, 1957, in Traverse City, Michigan at the First Christian Church.  Together they lovingly raised two wonderful boys.  Evelyn dedicated her life to being a dedicated mother and a devoted wife.

Evelyn graduated college in 1956 as a Registered Nurse.  She took pride in her career as she worked at Munson Hospital and Traverse City State Hospital for many years.

Another proud achievement was together Evelyn and Lyle built a very successful cherry farming business.  Evelyn could often be seen driving tractors and running equipment.

She is survived by her husband Lyle C. Goff. Her children David (Susan) Goff of Swartz Creek, Michigan, James (Kelly) Goff of Farmington Hills, Michigan.  Grandchildren: Michelle (Marc) Pouliot, Brian (Kristin) Goff, Eileen Goff, Samuel Goff.  Great grandchildren: Alex, Carter, Logan & Lilah.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11 AM from Beacon Cremation and Funeral Service, Covell- Kingsley Chapel, 200 N Brownson Ave., Kingsley, MI 49649, with visitation prior to the service from 9-11 AM.
