It is with great sadness that we announce Ev's passing on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 75. Ev will be lovingly remembered by her devoted partner of 32 years Susan Hejdak. Fondly remember by her dear sister, Elaine (Jack) Belinger; dear niece, Kelly (Tim) Sahr; dear nephews, Brandon (Christina) Belinger, and Josh (Sheila) Prowant; and great-niece and nephews, Bailey, Jarret, Bryton and Johnah; by her cousins and other close relatives in Michigan; by the Hejdak family in Wisconsin and by her many friends. Ev is preceded in death by her parents Ethel (Misek) and Edward Wilkinson; and her deeply loved sister Ellen Hawley.

Ev was proud of her 28 year military career. Beginning in the US Navy, then the WI National Guard and retiring as a First Sergeant in the US Army Reserve. Ev was a former employee of Briggs & Stratton and Potawatomi Casino. Ev loved spending mornings gardening in her backyard. Ev was an avid reader and member of the VFW AUX. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service-White Lake Chapel 413 S. Mears Ave. Whitehall, Michigan. The family will receive guests 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
