Fidencio Vasquez Jr., age 63, of Hart, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. Fidencio was born in Edinburg, Texas, on March 30, 1955, to Fidencio "Joe" Sr. and Maria "Lucy" Vasquez.

Junior attended Hart Public School. In his working career he worked for over 20 years at Gales IGA in Hart, for local area farmers during the summertime, as a local union laborer, at the Oceana County Fairgrounds during the fair season, and as an assistant handyman.  Junior was a loyal NASCAR fan, loved attending local auto races, watching NFL football, being outdoors, dancing with friends, and riding his snowmobile, mini bike and motocross bike; he was lovingly dedicated to helping his mother Lucy with her Christmas posada every year, and enjoyed spending time at family gatherings and birthday parties for his 3 great-nieces. He was a happy, outgoing, and friendly man with a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Junior is survived by: his sister, Norma (John Merten) Vasquez; his brother, Robert Vasquez; aunts, Olivia Hernandez and  Olga R (Alberto) Herrera; nephew, Christopher (Sarah) Lopez; nieces, Christina (Robert Prine) Lopez and Erica Vasquez; and great-nieces, Brianna Lopez, Stella Lopez and Anastasia Prine;

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Fernando Vasquez; his aunt, Conchita Rodriguez; and his uncles, Oscar Davila, Antonio Davila, Maurillo "Willie" Davila and Baldemero "Medo" Davila.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service – King-Hart Chapel, 2370 N. 72 ^nd Avenue, Hart, with Father Thomas Bolster officiating. The family will receive guests from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.

The family will hold a luncheon following the service at St. Gregory's Parish Hall, 316 S. Peach Street, Hart.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gregory's Church in Hart.
