Frances Winifred Clune, 99, of Muskegon, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born August 30, 1922, in Boon, Michigan, the daughter of W. Merle and Mildred (Boylen) Watkins.

Frances married Robert M. Clune November 27, 1941, and they spent 53 beautiful years together.

Frances graduated from Mesick High School in 1939, and then attended Shapiro Nursing School where she earned her LPN. She retired from Brookhaven Care Facility in 1982. Frances was the middle child in a family of nine children.

Frances is survived by: her daughter, Margaret A. Clune; son, Thomas R. (Nancy H.) Clune; granddaughter, Emily C. (Roberto) Mejia; grandson, James R. Clune; great grandchildren, Diego and Diana Mejia; god daughter, Elizabeth Watkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by: her husband; parents; and eight siblings.

The family of Frances would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Mike Riegler, Mr. James Tanis, Hospice of Michigan, and the staff at SKLD Whitehall for their kindness, care, and compassion to Frances and her children.

No services will be held at this time.
