Mrs. Frances J. Rockholm, age 101, died Saturday, December 23, 2006. She was born in Chicago on June 9, 1905 to Joseph and Anna (Lohr) Runik. Frances married Neils Christian Rockholm (Rocky) in Chicago on October 9, 1926. She was a member of the Warren Park Presbyterian Church in Cicero. Her interests included knitting and crotchet and her dog. She was very active in her church, especially in the kitchen. Frances also had a special love for each of her grandchildren. Mrs. Rockholm is survived by her children, Donald (Doris) Rockholm of LaGrange, IL and Jeanne Lanenga of Mears, MI; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 niece, Marilyn (Don) Idsinga of Whitehall, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neils (Rocky) Rockholm, son in law, Louis Lanenga, 2 sisters, Mildred Runik and Lillian Kotlan, 1 brother, Otto Runik. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Rockholm will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM from the Warren Park Presbyterian Church, 6130 W. 21st St., Cicero, IL with the Rev. Hassell Bullock officiating. Interment in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Park, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to the Warren Park Presbyterian Church. A local Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Janaury 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Hart United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ben Lester officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hart United Methodist Church.
