Frances Jane Schaub, 81, of Kingsley, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at home. She was born October 18, 1941, in Montcalm County, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Humphrey) Yoder Sr.

Fran worked alongside her husband, Gary, at their family business, C-Land Excavating. She later stayed home working on the farm and taking care of their horses. Fran enjoyed animals, gardening, sewing, and canning with Gary. Her favorite pastimes were BINGO and lottery tickets.

Fran is survived by: her children, Gary Lee "Bo" (Renee) Schaub of Kingsley and Barbara Ann (Brian) Reedy of Kingsley; grandchildren, Christopher (Lita) Schaub of Kingsley, Darrick Wagner of Kingsley, and Rachel (Talon) Sivrais of Columbus, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Lakies, Christian Schaub, Hunter Schaub, Brayden Wagner, and Colson Sivrais; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

On October 28, 1961, at St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Church, in Kingsley, Fran married Gary Elbert Schaub who preceded her in death on November 1, 2021. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Mary Ellen Schaub; and siblings, Caroline Thomas, Charles Yoder, Furman Yoder, Phyllis Elkins, Eloise Smith, and Wilma Green.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Schaub Farm, 6701 Schneider Road, Kingsley, Michigan  49649.  Interment will follow in St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the farm following interment.
