Obituary

Frank “Frankie” LeDoux, 76, of Glidden, Wisconsin, passed away on February 23, 2026.

Frank was born June 7, 1949, in Ashland, Wisconsin, to Frank LeDoux Sr. and Bessie LeDoux (née York). He spent much of his life connecting with people from all walks of life and was known for his kindness, strong faith, and unique talents.

Frank attended school in Oak Creek and Cudahy, Wisconsin. He worked for a time as a cab driver in Milwaukee and also worked in several supper clubs during the 1980s. He had a passion for cooking and further developed that interest by taking a cooking class at Ashland Tech.

Frank had a gift for bringing joy to others. He could impress people of all ages with his magic and card tricks, often leaving friends and family amazed and smiling.

His greatest passion, however, was sharing his faith. After learning about the dispensation of Christ through Pastor Ted Fellows, Frank devoted much of his life to teaching and encouraging others. Beginning in the late 1980s, he led Bible studies on the internet and touched many lives by sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. His favorite Bible verse was Ephesians 2:8–9: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Frank also served in the United States Army from June 1966 to November 1968.

Frank cherished his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brother, Donald LeDoux (Sandra), and his sister, Susette Rein, along with many extended family members.

Frank was also blessed with a supportive church family, friends, and neighbors in Glidden who offered help and companionship throughout the years.

Frank chose not to have a funeral service. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched with his faith, kindness, and joyful spirit.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
