Mr. Frank Ben Lokovich, age 89, of Ludington, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at home. He was born February 23, 1927, in Victory Township to Anthony and Margaret Lokovich. He was employed at Harsco Rail as a Quality Control Inspector, until his retirement in 1989. Ben graduated from Scottville High School in 1945. He married his wife Laurena Sterley on June 6, 1953 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Ludington. Ben loved to farm all his life. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunted squirrels, mushrooms and ice fished. He also loved to cut and split wood. He always could be found around home and puttering with different things. Ben was a man of great faith and was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church.

Frank is survived by his wife: Laurena Lokovich of Ludington: one son: James (Joyce) Lokovich of Georgetown, KY; one daughter: Linda (Charles) Lange of Ludington; three grandchildren: Rebecca Lange of Ludington, Jesse Lokovich and Jody Lokovich, both of Georgetown, KY; two great grandchildren: Alex Lokovich and Isabella Lokovich; one brother: William (Marge) Lokovich of Ludington; He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Stanley Lokovich, Joseph Lokovich, Edward Lokovich; four sisters: Adeline Murikes, Ann Hughes, Josephine Neuman, Stella Sladick.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. Lokovich will be offered Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at 11:00 am from St. Simon Catholic Church Ludington with Father Wayne B. Wheeler Jr. presiding. Interment will be in the Pere Marquette Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the Mass at St. Simon Catholic Church, 702 East Bryant Road, Ludington. The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Simon Catholic Church, 702 East Bryant Road, Ludington, MI 49431.
