Mr. Frank Arthur Rinaldi, age 96 of Pentwater, passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Frank was born on March 7, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to Ismail and Theresa (DeAngelo) Rinaldi. He was an Army veteran of World War II in the Battle of the Buldge. On April 4, 1953, in Brooklyn, New York, Frank married the former Karine Krantz. Frank served in the Detective Bureau with the New York City Police Department. Then after his retirement, he was involved in business. He was involved in politics and was the former mayor pro-tem in Hart. Frank was also a member of the Lions Club, VFW and the American Legion.

Frank is survived by one daughter, Kristine Rinaldi (David) Bluhm of Grand Rapids, MI; one son, Robert Rinaldi of Pentwater; four grandsons, Kameron Klotz, Derek Bluhm, Alex Bluhm, Jake Bluhm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Karine on June 26, 2015; two daughters, Terri Rinaldi Klotz, Ann Rinaldi; and all of his siblings.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. Rinaldi will be offered Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM from St. Vincent Catholic Church-Pentwater with Fr. Phillip Sliwinski presiding. Interment will be in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until Mass time at the church.
