FRED WILLIAM BARRICK

4/30/51 - 10/15/24

Born in Virginia Beach, VA the son of Robert Barrick And Beverly Barrick. His younger days were spent on the football field and singing in the choir at Redford High School. After High School, dad self-enlisted himself into the United States Army, which he was there from 1969-1972 where he served 4 consecutive tours in the Jungles of Vietnam. When he came home, he met the love of his life Diana Jones when she was a young 16 years old. They were married shortly thereafter.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Diana. His Children Robert (Sarah) and Kim (Emily) Grandchildren Skyler, Haiden, Bryson and Danika. He is also survived by His sister Renee and her son Harvey as well as his amazing nieces Rose, Harmony and Skye and Nephew Max. Also survived by Cheryl, Terri and Chris Shafer and great nephews Christopher and Dustin. All of whom he loved dearly.

Dad did not want a service but at some point, we will do a small celebration. For now, I ask that if you would like to honor our father, do so by thanking your local veterans when you see them. And if you're sitting in a tree stand and feel the wind on your face know that he is there sitting with ol Fred bear!!!!!
