Frederick James Tuller, age 87, of Mayfield, died Friday September 18, 2026, at Cherry Hill Haven of Traverse City. Fred was born on October 31, 1938, in Mayfield to Harold and Elva (Wildfong) Tuller.

On November 19, 1960, he married Patricia Hendges at St. Mary’s of Hannah Church.

Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling the U.P. with Patricia, and working his property in Mayfield. Family and friends were very important to Fred as were all of the memories of Bus Camp in the U.P and The Pig Pen during deer season and playing Euchre with friends in the winter. Fred also served the community as a volunteer firefighter with GT Rural Station 02 – Kingsley, from the early 1970’s to late 1980’s.

Fred is survived by his son; James (Cheri) Tuller, daughter; Deborah (Matthew) Niewiadomski, grandson; Jon Cameron (Megan Giddings), and granddaughter; Caitlyn (Eric) McPherson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, both parents, and brother Hal Tuller.

A funeral service is not planned. Memorials may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
