Gail Marie Treptow-Crane, 70, of Montague, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born June 28, 1954, in Muskegon, the daughter of James and Ormal (Niesen) Treptow.

Gail graduated from Montague High School in 1972. She obtained an Associate in Business degree from Baker College. Gail was then employed by Whitehall Metal Products and later, Clock Funeral Home.

Gail was a lifetime auxiliary member at the VFW, Post 3256. She enjoyed NASCAR, family and friends, and many trips to Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Gail is survived by: her brother, Bill (Dee Dee) Treptow; step-children, Karrie Twork, Jon (Joy) Crane, and Micheal (Jill) Crane; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; niece, Kelly (Kevin) Bantien; nephews, Clinton Cooper and Jason (Amanda) Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gail was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard Grant Crane; and parents, James and Ormal Treptow.

A Celebration of Life will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the White Lake VFW Post 3256, 9370 Walsh Rd, Montague, MI 49437.

Memorial contributions may be made to White Lake VFW Auxiliary Post 3256.
