Gary Chester Dodge

Gary Chester Dodge, 76, of Hesperia, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026 at his home. He was born August 6, 1949, in Hart, the son of Paul and Helen (Thomas) Dodge.

Gary was a strong-willed and loving father, and absolutely adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed hotrods and he loved wrenching on his ’66 Chevy K10. He was also a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians

Gary is survived by: his children, Paul (Roxy) Dodge, Scott (Kristy) Dodge, and Tonia Dodge; his grandchildren, Jenna Dodge, Hannah Dodge, Ayden Dodge, Deagan Dodge, Riley Dodge, and Lydia Dodge; as well as a brother, Al (Zora) Dodge.

Gary was preceded in death by: his parents, Paul and Helen Dodge; and a brother, Wayne Dodge.

In accordance with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Hesperia Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
