Mr. Gary J. Pangburn, age 56 of Hart, died Sunday, December 14, 2008. He was born December 4, 1952 in Hart to John and Mae (Brimmer) Pangburn. Mr. Pangburn was employed as the plant manager and then general manager of Alma Pack and Coloma Frozen Foods. His interests included driving the scenic back roads, traveling, playing the saxophone and had the talent of identifying fruit by the leaves on the tree. He will be remembered as a big hearted man and always being there for his children and family. He is survived by his daughters, Nicole (Jeremy) Kennedy of Muskegon, Stephanie (Jonathan) Hubanks of Mishawaka, IN and Colleen Pangburn of Benton Harbor; four grandchildren, Shelby, Alyssa, Jeremy and Gavin; sisters and brothers, Penny Burillo of Hart, Linda Pangburn of Muskegon, Shirley (Mark) Stovall of Hart, Wayne (Traci) Pangburn of Hart, Tom (Lori) Pangburn of Hart, Millie (Phill) Adams of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by his mother, Mae Pangburn of Hart and two aunts, Judy (Jerry) Spencer of Hart and Joyce (Myron) Carter of Fruitport. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Pangburn. The Mass of the Resurrection will be offered Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Gregory Catholic Church with Fr. Ronald Schneider presiding. Interment in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 P.M. at the Tate-King Funeral Home.
