Gaylan Dale Leek, age 73, of Twin Lake, Michigan, passed away on August 2, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 29,1952, the son of Neulan and Rosella (Turner) Leek, and was a life long resident of the area.

He worked at Neway Mold for 30 years as a C&C programmer and Tool and Die maker, eventually retiring from Lift-Tech in Muskegon. Gaylan loved his family, fishing, and entertaining. He was well known for his Bass fishing skills and kindness to his fellow tournament anglers.

Gaylan is survived by: two sons, Erik (Jennifer)Leek and Bryon (Kelly Hunter) Leek; five grandchildren, Shane Leek, Tyler Dorman, Karsen Leek, Evan (Haley)Leek, and Karley Leek; and three great-grandchildren, Aiden Leek, Eriyan Leek, and Maddilyn Leek.

Gaylan was preceded in death by: his parents, Neulan and Rosella Leek; step-father, Raymond Holmstrom; and brother, Kenneth Leek.

In accordance with Gaylan's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
