George "Noon" Peter Amrein Jr., 92, of Whitehall, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born May 24, 1929, in Chicago, the son of George Sr. and Margaret (Fellmeth) Amrein.

Noon was a proud veteran of the US Army. He enjoyed music and dancing.

Noon is survived by: his wife, Marlene Amrein; daughter, Laura (Dean) O'Meara; sons, Curtis (Kathy) Amrein and Rodger (Joanne) Amrein; grandchildren, Robert Monreal, Nicholas (Brittni) Monreal, Matthew (Cathy) Amrein, Kelsey (Sam) Richardson, and Zachary (Sarah Moffatt) Amrein; great-granddaughter, Madison Monreal; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Noon was preceded in death by: his parents; and siblings, Margaret Griffin, Patricia Derry, Eileen Engels, and Ronald Amrein.

Mass of Christian Burial and interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Montague, will be conducted privately.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
