IN LOVING MEMORY OF
George "Bob"
Robert Bryan Freemire
August 4, 1969 – January 11, 2022
George "Bob" Robert Bryan Freemire, 52, of Interlochen, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 12, 2022. He was born August 4, 1969, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of George and Mary (Baughman) Freemire.
Bob was a wild child. He always wanted to go faster. He was fearless like that.
He was a loving son with a huge heart that had room for everyone. He loved people. He was outdoorsman and loved being outside, fishing, and hunting. Bob enjoyed many evenings around the bonfire with friends retelling the stories of the "Good ole Days." He often bragged about the caribou he got on a hunting trip with his dad. He spent many of his days wrenching on his 1979 Ford truck and getting her muddy with friends. He could fix just about anything. Bob had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, and a contagious laugh that will be deeply missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.
Bob is survived by: his son, Bobby Crandall of Traverse City; grandchild, Emma Crandall of Traverse City; mom and dad, Mary and Jim Harenberg of Grawn: sisters, Jennifer Heglin and Holly (Trevor) Klaasen; brother, Jim Harenberg; Uncle Glenn; many nieces and nephew; and pets, Ranger, Princess, and Poppa.
Bob was preceded in death by: his father, George Freemire and grandparents.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
