George H. Zezulka, 77, of Lake Ann, died December 27, 2022, at his home.

He was born on July 14, 1945, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, to his mother and father, George and Dorothy Zezulka of Karlin, Michigan.

George attended Interlochen Elementary School and later Traverse City Senior High School. He was enlisted in the United State Air Force from 1963-1967 and later became a Fire Fighter for the Traverse City Fire Department from March of 1970- June of 1995.

George truly loved the outdoors and spent a great deal of his spare time hunting and fishing on the family homestead throughout his entire life, a place where he found peace.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2023, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, 511 South Garfield Avenue, Traverse City, Michigan  49686, with the Reverend Sean Barton officiating.  Interment will take place in the Grant Township Cemetery, in Karlin, in the spring.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
