Mr. Gerald Lynn Horniman, age 70, of Petoskey, Michigan, passed away on April 12, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1953, in Charlevoix.

Gerry, as he was affectionately known, attended Petoskey High School and later pursued higher education at Crowder College.

Throughout his career, Gerry held various roles, including City Superintendent of Lebanon, Missouri. He later served as an Administrative Assistant at Continental Structural Plastics in Petoskey, Michigan until his retirement.

Gerry will be remembered for his joyful perseverance and unwavering faith. Despite facing long-term health challenges, his spirit remained bright, always ready to share his love for his savior. His impact was felt not only in his hometown of Petoskey but also in Ludington, where he spent his final years.

Gerry is survived by: his brother, George Horniman (Shelley); daughter, Valerie Johnson (Tony); grandsons, Mel J. Horniman and Rafael Johnson.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Melvin H. Horniman; mother, Lila M. Horniman (McLellan); brother, Michael W. Horniman; sister, Janet G. Joslin; and son, George M. Horniman.

Gerry's legacy of faith and love will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
