Germaine Malburg, 101, of Weare Township, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 25, 1925, in Weare Township, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Ziegler) Alvesteffer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at St. Joseph Weare Catholic Church, with Father Charlie Brown and Father Philip Sliwinski presiding.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday, July 6, 2026, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel from 5-7 PM, followed by praying the Rosary at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will also be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oceana County Medical Care Facility, St. Joseph Weare Catholic Church or Elara Caring Hospice.
