Glenn passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was born in Muskegon on June 20, 1938 to Glenn and Anna (Tollenaar) Phillips. He married the former Kay Bitson on August 31, 1957. They recently celebrated their 60 ^th wedding anniversary.

Glenn was a hard-working, honest, caring, well-liked man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed yard work and deer hunting with his son. However, the most important thing was his family. He will be deeply missed.

Glenn is survived by his wife Kay; 2 daughters, Daughn Phillips and Debbie (Butch) Nichols both of Muskegon; son, Gary (Mary Lou) Phillips of Hart; grandson, Mike (Becky) Riddle of Cheney, Washington; 2 granddaughters, Amanda (Nate) Brown and Angela Trowbridge, both of Muskegon; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Jim) Porter; 3 brothers, Jerry (Darlene) Phillips, Dan Phillips and Tim (Marsha) Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, JoAnn; and grandson Jason Nichols.

In keeping with his wishes, a private family service has been held.
