Gloria Renee Byron, 50, of Whitehall, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at home.  She was born June 4, 1968, in San Bernardino, California.

Gloria worked as a CENA at Hackley Hospital and later for West Shore Medical Associates serving in home healthcare for over 10 years.  She truly enjoyed her work and loved helping those who needed her care.  In her spare time, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles to keep her mind sharp, as well as watching any type of trivia shows, especially Cash Cab.  Gloria also enjoyed having a beer or two with family and friends.

On October 12, 1995, in Whitehall, Gloria married James "Jim" Byron II, who survives her.  She is also survived by: her children, Ryan (Mary) MacFadyen of Muskegon, and David (Joleen Smith) MacFadyen of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Carter, Cason, Noah, Eli, Mara and Emery; her mother, Alicia (Cary) Erwin of Portsmouth, Ohio; her mother-in-law, June Peterson of Whitehall; her step-mother, Kay Kroening of Luther; her brothers, John (Kelly) Kroening of Muskegon, and Jason (Anna) Kroening of Colorado; her sister, Mary Schardein  of California; her brother-in-law, Shane Byron; her sisters-in-law, Teresa (Billl) Brolick and Pamela Byron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by: her father, Claude Kroening; and her sister, Gayle Causey.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
