Gregory Allan Butzer, 61, of Whitehall, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 6, 1964, in Muskegon, the son of Jerry and Carol (Loy) Butzer.

On October 6, 1990, Greg married Marsha Goerbig. His professional career was with Howmet Aerospace, in progressive roles including Engineering, Supervision, and Manufacturing Management.

Greg’s passions were his family and friends. Nothing brought him more joy than family gatherings and time spent with friends.

Greg is survived by: his wife, Marsha Butzer; his children, Ryan Butzer & Taylor (Hull) Butzer, Erik Butzer & Madison (Nabozny) Butzer; and his sister, Christine & Tom Gooch.

Greg was preceded in death by: his parents, Jerry and Carol Butzer.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the White Lake Eagles, 1204 Lake St, Whitehall, MI 49461.
