Mr. Gregory Garcia Escamilla, age 38, of Hart, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011. He was born October 14, 1972, in Shelby to Benito and Rosemary (Garcia) Escamilla. He was employed in the Christmas tree industry.

Gregory is survived by two sons, Gregory Escamilla, Jr. and Samuel Alejandro Escamilla of Hart, MI; his mother, Rosemary Escamilla of Texas; four sisters, Ramona Escamilla and Irene Escamilla of Hart, and Sylvia Perales and Rosalinda Zapata of TX; and six brothers, Esteven Escamilla, Benny Escamilla, Porfirio Escamilla, and Fidel Escamilla, all of Hart, and Rudy Escamilla and Santiago Escamilla, both of TX. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Alejandro Escamilla.

Funeral services for Mr. Escamilla will be Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., from King Funeral Home in Hart with Fr. Tom Bolster officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, one hour prior to service at King Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
