Obituary

Gregory Francis Mund, 70, of Montague, passed away late in the evening of Thursday, May 19, 2022, after an endured bout with pancreatic cancer. He was born January, 15, 1952, the son of Robert and Lillian (Machovsky) Mund.
Gregory spent his career in environmental and agriculture conservation. He worked closely with many in the community to improve the wetlands of Muskegon and Oceana Counties, where he also lived his life as an organic fruit and vegetable farmer.
He was a beloved father, brother, friend, and human being.
Gregory is survived by: his children, Derrick Mund, Brian (Kim) Beaumund, Erin (Jordan) Vorgias, and Meghan Mund; sister, Serena Devries; and grandchildren, Greyson Beaumund, Keagan Beaumund, and Sonya Vorgias.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2022, at The Playhouse at White Lake, 304 North Mears Avenue, Whitehall, MI 49461
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcomed and appreciated, and may be made to West Michigan Environmental Action Council,
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, White Lake Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
