Gwen Wanda Nelson, 74, of Whitehall, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. She was born November 25, 1946, in Muskegon, the daughter of George and Vivian (Brown) Nelson.

Gwen was an educator with Reeths-Puffer High School for 30 years. She had a love for theatre, especially the White Lake Playhouse, and traveling.

Gwen is survived by: her siblings, Joette (Rex) Converse, Mary Beth (Randy) Schaub, and Bill (Dawn) Nelson; nieces and nephews, Marc Machovsky, Alina (Greg) Wilson, and Mandy (Bill) Kowal; great-nieces and nephews, Kennidi, Josilyn, Lucy, Lauren, Luke, and Alex; and her best friend, Louise Rosswaag.

Gwen was preceded in death by: her parents; and brother, Robert Walter Nelson.

In accordance with Gwen's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
