Halcyone Mae Brown 93, of Kingsley passed away peacefully at home Tuesday May 21 2024.  She was born December 2 1930, in Kingsley to Albert and Thelma (Phelps) Sieffert.

Halcyone worked for United Technology and was a lifelong member of the Kingsley United Methodist Church. She was also a life time member of the of the Buckley Old Engine Club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and was a loving wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Halcyone is survived by: her children Randy (Nancy) Brown of Kingsley, Sandy Stauffer of Lowell, Janice (Larry) Clous of Buckley, Nancy (Art) Petke of Florida, Carl (Diane) Brown of Kingsley, Jon (Debra) Brown of Levelland, TX, Charlotte (Ronald) Hill of Otsego, and Pamela (Randy) Clark of Kingsley; 25 grandchildren, 44 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great grandchildren; and siblings Alice (Phil) Engwall of Brethren, Bill (Carol) Sieffert of Kingsley, and Ardella Hoyt of Kingsley.

In 1949, Halcyone married Robert Brown who preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; infant son, Darrell; sisters, Phyllis Mackey; and Beverly Sieffert; and son-in-law, David Stauffer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kingsley United Methodist Church or Munson Hospice. Burial will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery.
