Helen Moss, of Elk Rapids, passed away on September 16, 2023, at 99 years old.

Helen grew up with her four siblings in Pennsylvania. During WWII, she moved to the Detroit area to become one of the "Rosies" who riveted together military airplanes. She married William "Bill" Moss in St. Clair Shores, later moved to Chelsea, MI, and then retired in Asheville, NC. Helen was lively, honest, and caring. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for friends and family, gardening, spending time in Northern Michigan, and garage saling.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Moss. She is survived by her daughter, Corliss, granddaughters, Raechel and Devon, and great-grandson, William.

In keeping with her wishes, no services will be held.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Elk Rapids Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
