In Loving Memory of Hollyn Marie Tompkins

August 25, 1951 – July 4,2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hollyn Marie Tompkins, age 73. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and adopted by John and Lillian Prince in 1952, Hollyn lived a life filled with love, compassion, and devotion to her family and the many lives she touched throughout her career at the West Michigan Regional Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Prince, and her great grandsons, Liam DeRouin and Carter Gillette.
Hollyn is lovingly remembered by her daughters Heather (Bruce) Maneke and Jeannie Spicer; her grandchildren David (Rachel) Shepardson, Ashley Gillette, Bruce(Krista) Maneke , Zachary (Bailey) Halverson, Andrea (Kevin) Burns, Christopher Miller, Bobby Jewett II, Jasmine Jewett; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother Bradley (Janet) Prince.

Hollyn found joy in reading, crocheting, time with family, and her beloved pets. Her spicy attitude and love for making people laugh will be greatly missed.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
