Howard Ecker III, age 94 of Glendale, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Neah-ta-wanta, Michigan.

Howard (aka: Butch, Walter) is survived by: his wife Dorothy of 65 years; son, Howard (Bucky) Ecker IV, and daughters, Beth Ecker (Paul) and Susan Charlton (David).

Preceding him in death was his grandson, Andy Breidenbach.

Surviving grandchildren are Cooper, Henry, Michael and Max.

A Memorial Service will be held October 23, 2021, at 10:00 AM, at First Presbyterian Church of Glendale and a Celebration of Life will be held summer 2022 in Neah-ta-wanta on the shores of Lake Michigan's West Bay.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Covell-Traverse City Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
