Mrs. Ida Marie Jacobs, age 95, of Hart, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014. She was born April 3, 1919, in Weare Township to A. A. and Flora (Zagers) Greiner. Mrs. Jacobs attended St. Joseph School in Weare as a child and graduated from St. Mary High School in Muskegon with the Class of 1937. She was employed at Teledyne Continental and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare.

Ida is survived by one daughter, Carol (Bill) McVicker of Pentwater; two sons, Jim Jacobs, and Joe (Kathy) Jacobs of Spring Lake; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Leo, Severin, Arthur, and George Greiner; five sisters, Julia Schiller, Clara Grant, Lucille Dumas and, Laura Kempf; and two daughters, Linda Jacobs and Mary Jacobs-May.

The Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Jacobs will be offered Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Weare with Father Anthony Britto presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. The family requests that any memorials be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church Renovation Fund, 2380 W.
