Obituary
Mr. Ira Franklin Griffin, Sr., of Shelby, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. He was born April 5, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. Ira married Alice Jean Pettigrove on December 9, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia; she preceded him in death on June 12, 2002. He owned and operated a hair salon for many years.
Ira is survived by his son, Ira Griffin, Jr. of North Muskegon, and a grandson, Evan Phoenix Griffin. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned.
